Shipping Policy

1. Processing & Lead Times

Because we specialize in handcrafted and personalized items, your order goes through two phases:

• Production Time: Standard items take [3–5] business days to create. Custom sublimation or bulk orders may take [7–10] business days.
• Shipping Time: Once your order is ready, it is handed over to our courier partners.
• Please Note: Production and shipping do not take place on weekends or South African Public Holidays.

2. Shipping Rates

• Calculated at Checkout: Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery address and the total weight/volume of your order.
• Outlying Areas: Deliveries to farms, townships, or remote rural areas may incur a "surcharge" or take longer to arrive. If our courier flags your address as a high-surcharge area, we will contact you before shipping.

3. Delivery Estimates

• Main Hubs (JHB, PTA, CPT, DBN): 2–3 business days.
• Regional/Outlying Areas: 5–7 business days.
• Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email to follow your parcel's journey.

4. P.O. Boxes & Postnet

• No P.O. Boxes: We use door-to-door courier services; therefore, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

5. Failed Delivery & Incorrect Addresses

• Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are 100% correct.
• If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or because the customer was unavailable for multiple delivery attempts, the cost of re-shipping will be for the customer’s account.

6. International Shipping

Currently, we only ship within the borders of South Africa. If you are outside of SA and would like to order, please contact us at unboxedgiftsbyjanine@gmail.com for a custom quote.

Local Pickup (Free)

• Location: Boksburg, Johannesburg (Full address details will be provided upon completion of your order
• Process: Please do not come to collect until you receive an "Order Ready for Pickup" email.
• Lead Times: Standard production times apply to all pickup orders. Once ready, you will receive the full address and collection instructions.
